Akkodis is seeking a Field Service Technician for a maintenance/installation position with a client located in Omaha, NE. We are looking for a Field Service Technician who is self-directed, at ease dealing directly with the customer, can write technical reports, and make and assist the Engineering team with product improvement recommendations. The Field Service Technician is responsible for the independent assembly, commissioning, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of our power and data supply systems, both domestically and internationally.
Pay/Salary Range: $70,000/yr - $80,000/yr
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- 5 years in a Field Service role with decision-making responsibility
- Electronics or Electrical certificate or degree
- Ability to travel 70% of the time
- Ability to write trip reports, return material authorizations, test reports, and corrective action reports
- Knowledge of PLC’s highly preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot systems using electrical schematics
- Must be able to work in a Windows environment and be proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must not be afraid of heights
