Job Summary:
The Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities across Texas. This role requires extensive travel within the state to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Client Relations: Maintain and build positive relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure project specifications are met.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-15 years of experience in water/wastewater project management.
- Certifications: PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and construction practices.
- Ability to travel extensively within Texas.
