MUST LIVE IN THE COLUMBIA, SC AREA
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cabling, telecommunication, field service, and mechanical knowledge. If you have a passion for network devices, and audiovisual technology, and enjoy troubleshooting software issues, we want to hear from you.
- Duration: 2-3 month contract with possibility of extension or conversion
- Hourly Rate: $20/hr
- All site locations will be in the Columbia, SC area. Mileage will be paid at IRS $.67 per mile.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday & 40 hrs a week
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must have reliable transportation
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices &audiovisual systems
- Perform field service visits to client locations for system setup and maintenance
- Utilize schematics to guide installations and repairs
- Handle low voltage wiring and connections
- Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment
- Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in cabling techniques for audiovisual systems
- Experience in telecommunication or related field service work
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to maintain equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for system installations
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring standards
- Proficient in using hand tools for equipment assembly and disassembly
