We are a worldwide leader in access solutions and seek a President of New Product Development to contribute to our groundbreaking work in locksets, high-security key systems, door closers, exit devices, electro-mechanical products, and access control systems. We are dedicated to providing impeccable firmware quality that defines our outstanding products, ensuring their continued prominence in the industry. We seek a dynamic leader to serve as the President of Accessories, overseeing 5 facilities and a $200M business portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong New Product Development (NPD) background, P&L management, and operational excellence within the door/lock or furniture hardware industries. This individual will play a critical role in driving business growth, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products while ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 11 direct reports and 500 employees across 5 facilities.
- Drive new product development and ensure seamless product launches.
- Own the P&L for the Accessories division, managing a $200M portfolio.
- Work closely with sales and operations to ensure full product line sales.
- Build strong rapport with internal teams, including the door security solutions team.
- Travel 60% to oversee facilities and ensure business growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing $100M+ portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in door/lock systems or furniture hardware.
- Experience in New Product Development (NPD) and P&L ownership.
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
- Longevity in prior roles, with strong career progression.
