Job Summary
We are looking to hire an Analytical Laboratory Technician to join our client’s team. Under the supervision of the Lab Manager/Supervisor, this role performs chemical and physical analyses following approved methodology and conducts experiments on organic and inorganic substances (such as pigment, inks, additives, solvents, and raw materials) to assure both product suitability and applicability. Accurately and safely performs and documents all experiments and results with minimal supervision. Operates and performs minor maintenance on lab equipment used in testing. Performs procedures and documentation required by the Quality Management System.
Job Description
- Perform chemical analysis of pigments, raw materials, dispersions, inks, using UV-Vis, FTIR, HPLC, GC/MS, metal analysis by ICP-OES, wet chemistry, pH, conductivity, and titrations.
- Compliance with site regulations, including adherence to safety guidelines, chemical hygiene, and ISO guidelines.
- Quality control analysis.
- Maintain a safe and compliant lab environment.
- Order lab supplies and manage inventory.
Skills Required
- Required Skills: Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry, HPLC, GC/MS, UV-Vis, FTIR, ICP, pH, Conductivity, wet chemistry
- 1-2 years’ experience in the Analytical Chemistry field
- Strong safety and ethics awareness.
- Collaborate effectively with team members from different disciplines (e.g., research chemists, engineers) to ensure successful project completion.
- Prioritize competing tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially in MS Excel and Word.
- Mathematical skills, including regression analysis and experience with analytical data analysis systems (GC, HPLC) are preferred.
- Well organized, self-motivated, flexible, and have good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Physical Requirements: Able to do light manual work in a chemistry lab environment
Education/Certificate/Training
- Associate degree in chemistry preferred, others considered based on aptitude.

- Work Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
