AP/CP Pathology Locums Job in Western Florida for 6-8 Weeks November 18 - January 10 Monday - Friday Stretches with No Nights or Weekends
Jackson + Coker is partnered with a south Florida Pathology group that needs AP/CP Pathology locum tenens coverage for 8 weeks of coverage starting the week of November 18 and through January 10. This opportunity will require privileging at 4-6 hospitals located in the Tampa area and a Pathologist who is open to providing coverage at different facilities each week (being floated to which ever facility needs help) throughout the assignment.
Schedule details:
Lab hours are 8A - 6P, Monday - Friday
No night or weekend call coverage needed
Holiday coverage is needed for all holidays
Dates of coverage needed:
Monday, November 18 - Friday November 22
Monday, November 25 - Friday, November 29 Thanksgiving covered needed
Monday, December 2 - Friday, December 6
Monday, December 9 - Friday, December 13
Monday, December 16 - Friday, December 20
Monday, December 23 - Friday, December 27 Christmas coverage needed
Monday, December 30 - Friday, January 3 New Years Day coverage needed
Monday, January 6 - Friday, January 10

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Florida license required
AP/CP Pathology / Surgical Pathology Board Certification required
Group has sub-specialty support, however, welcomes Pathologists that can do all general Pathology AND any subspecialty
Lab hours are generally 8A - 6PM, no night or weekend call coverage is needed
Will be required to get privileges at 4-6 facilities in Tampa area; Shared CVO for credentialing that breaks off to facility specific MSOs for facility specific credentialing needs
Can anticipate between 28-38 specimens each day, however, can send cases out if you become 'too busy,' and for any subspecialties you aren't comfortable with
Hospital based labs at all locations - each location has a Histotech + Medical Director
Some locations have 2 staffed Pathologists but will work as solo-Pathologist at most locations
Will handle your own frozen grossing - all other grossing is done by PAs at 1 main facility
Epic EMR at each location - will be required to complete Epic training prior to coverage (can also test out of comfortable)
