Immediate opening for a Field Service Engineer with a medical diagnostic company in Jacksonville, FL who possesses:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or similar MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, installing, or repairing lab equipment (diagnostics preferred)
- Willingness to travel
- Valid Drivers License and Passport

FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Provides product service and operational assistance to customers.
- Ensures proper operation of company products at the customer's locations.
- Completes service calls according to the service plan; troubleshoots, coordinates, schedules, prepares and processes paperwork. Identifies the best methodology to fix the problems at the lowest possible cost.
- Makes independent decisions on trunk stock and ensures effective maintenance of inventory of repair parts.
- Processes the return or disposal of defective parts promptly, ensuring there is no disruption in service.
- Communicates with Sales and Marketing team regarding customer dissatisfaction, product problems, customer status changes, product improvement, and competitive information in an effort to prevent future concerns.
- Applies effective time and territorial management techniques and organizes cost effective travel plans.
- Provides extended hour coverage and can travel outside normal work hours when required.
- Submits required reports and documents in a timely manner.
- Works independently to find solutions to problems. Takes ownership and initiative to identify and address challenges for a more efficient and productive work environment.
- Uses training and available resources to effectively troubleshoot problems while onsite.
- Independently utilizes all available resources to engage in self-directed learning to expand knowledge and capabilities in relevant areas.
- Promotes service agreements to customers.

Salary Range: $90-105k/yr
