Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to act as the key liaison between their organization and a major global client. This role is pivotal in ensuring the ongoing success of a complex, high-impact program related to the deployment, installation, repair, and support of advanced technologies. The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate global teams, traveling across the world to address and resolve customer issues, ensuring that all program objectives are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
This position requires a strong leader who excels in customer success, has a knack for solving technical challenges, and can manage cross-functional teams in a global setting. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the client, ensuring their needs are met, and that the program continues to deliver value aligned with their business objectives.
Projects You’ll Work On:
- Serve as the primary liaison between our client and a leading mining company, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with program goals.
- Oversee the global implementation, support, and continuous improvement of cutting-edge vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-person collision avoidance technology.
- Lead international teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system installations, repairs, and ongoing support services.
- Drive customer success initiatives, ensuring the program delivers consistent value and meets or exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with the client, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with the program.
- Program Leadership: Lead global teams in the successful delivery of program milestones, ensuring all technical, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address any challenges related to system installation, repair, or support, coordinating across teams and regions to implement effective solutions.
- Global Team Coordination: Manage and mentor cross-functional teams located around the world, ensuring that they are aligned with program objectives and client needs.
- Customer Success: Implement strategies that enhance the client’s experience and ensure the long-term success and value of the program.
- Travel: Regular international travel to client sites to oversee project delivery, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong client relations.
What Experience You Should Bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Program Management Expertise: At least 7 years of experience in program or project management, with a strong emphasis on customer success and technical solution delivery.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the mining, metals, or related industries, particularly in technology deployment and support roles.
- Global Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams across different geographies and cultures.
- Certifications: Project Management certifications such as PMI’s PMP, Prince2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of complex technical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and lead technical discussions.
- Customer-Centric: A deep commitment to customer success, with the ability to anticipate client needs and exceed expectations.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel internationally as required, with a focus on client site visits and global team coordination.
