LOCATION: Cary, North Carolina, USA
TYPE: Permanent
GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:
- Lead the company’s data strategy and operations, working closely with domain leaders in all geographical regions to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Ensure ideation and overseeing implementation of strategic data and analytics initiatives for enhanced value creation for end customers
- Manage multiple contractors, oversee data governance, and drive innovation in data science, analytics and reporting.
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
- Develop and implement the company's data strategy, including data governance and data architecture
- Ideate strategic data initiatives to support digital experience and customer value creation
- Drive innovation in data analytics and reporting, identifying new opportunities to use data to improve business outcomes
- Set and enforce standards for the global data architecture
- Collaborate with domain leaders in all geographical regions to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and deliver value
- Manage a team of data professionals and multiple contractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and implement processes for data quality control and security, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Communicate data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Utilize artificial intelligence as appropriate to improve data processes
ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?
Main requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in data management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple contractors and teams in a global environment
- Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and data quality control
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, PowerApps, and Power BI is a bonus
