Job Description: Network Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:
Project Meetings: Actively participate in project meetings to understand and contribute to project goals and requirements.Configuration and Implementation: Configure and implement scripts for network devices, specifically Juniper and Cisco platforms, during scheduled maintenance windows.Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network issues related to Cisco and Juniper devices.Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Staff Engineers and report to VP of Engineering.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper Platforms: Demonstrated experience with Cisco ASR 9k, NCS 5501, Nexus 93180, and Juniper QFX 5120 and 48Y devices.
IP Concepts: Strong understanding of IP networking concepts and protocols.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) and Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIP, etc.) are preferred.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Team Structure:
Immediate Team: Work directly with the data network engineering team, and other engineering professionals.
