Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Associate Test Technician (2nd shift) for our rapidly expanding team in Warren MI. As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs a variety testing services to manufacturers and leading suppliers in the automotive industry. The range of capabilities includes component and system testing, system simulation, engine performance and full vehicle structural testing.
Responsibilities
- Designs, sets-up and performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirements
- Build and tear down of test fixtures
- Possesses the ability to learn lower to intermediate complex testing. Training will be provided
- Work with hand tools; wrenches, hammers, screw drivers, etc.
Skills / Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
- Minimum 1 yr experience working as a Technician, Mechanic, General Repair, etc. or interest in similar field
- Must be able to work with basic tools
- Any experience working with repairing or maintaining cars, trucks, motorcycles, highly desired
