Chief Technology Officer
Based: Wisconsin
Salary: $225,000 - $250,000
About Our Client: Kinetica are partnered with a publicly held CDMO HQ’d out of New York with production and R&D services across North America and China.
Our client, as a CDMO are known for cGMP services for intermediates, APIs and excipients, offering a wide-range of capabilities and industry-leading cost-effective R&D services including design of practical synthesis, improvement of existing chemistry, and development of commercial processes.
We are in the search of a highly motivated, hands on, multi-functional skilled Chief Technology Officer to oversee all aspects of the manufacturing sites operations. The successful applicant will be highly experienced with EHS, cGMPs, Quality, R&D, and Continuous Improvement, and will utilise this skillset to insure strategic alignment on company missions and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Responsibility
- Make sure the facility follows all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, quality guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Work on achieving the company’s objectives as directed by corporate team.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to explore new projects, create cost estimates, write proposals, and attend customer meetings to help secure new business.
- Develop and implement a structured organizational system to efficiently manage projects from research and development (R&D) to commercial manufacturing.
- Encourage cohesion across departments to smoothly transition projects from the lab to full-scale production.
- Participate in both short-term and long-term planning for the site, including infrastructure needs and the adoption of new technologies as part of growth strategies
- Stay updated with training in process development, executive management, and compliance in EHS, Quality, and Regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Available to work on-site full time
- Willing to travel domestically and international
- Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry or related field (Essential)
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field (Preferred)
- Extensive experience in cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing
