SLS Controls has an immediate need for a professional, technically apt individual to assist in the installation, programming and commissioning of Crestron commercial lighting control systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years' experience in a related field where one's primary responsibility is assisting an electrical contractor with the installation of a functional lighting controls system in a commercial construction environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or demonstrable technical aptitude
· General knowledge of construction process specific to NYC market
· Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
· Organized and accustomed to a demanding workload and schedule
· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Responsibilities:
To successfully commission, troubleshoot and service commercial lighting control systems
· Train contractors on the installation of PoE, conventional and wireless lighting control systems
· Troubleshoot wiring alongside electrical installers
· Work closely with engineering staff to program system per approved contract documents
· Communicate with clients (contractors, distributors, etc) professionally and respond to all inquiries promptly
