Typical Responsibilities:
- Quality Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance programs aligned with TS 16949, ISO, and customer-specific standards.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with industry benchmarks.
- Customer Focus: Serve as the primary contact for quality concerns, leading effective issue resolution and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Program Launch Leadership: Oversee and lead new program launches, including APQP and PPAP approvals, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to quality standards.
- Team Development: Supervise and mentor the quality department staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through training and professional development.
- Process Excellence: Evaluate product and process quality using advanced statistical analysis and problem-solving methods, driving innovative solutions.
- Operational Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, approve measurement equipment, and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical experience.
- 5+ years of quality management experience.
- Deep expertise in TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and quality systems
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency with quality systems, MS Office, and statistical analysis tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
