Position: Field Installation Manager

From design, to installation and maintenance, we handle it all in-house using state-of-the-art machinery. We also house a full-service print shop that ensures top-quality printed graphics for our client's signage needs.
Role Description
- This is a full-time role for a Field Installation Manager at Coastal Signs Plus. As an Installation Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various signage projects. This role will involve working both on-site at our El Cajon shop and remotely at job sites throughput San Diego. (Some travel to Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Palm Springs, and El Centro may be needed.)
Qualifications
- Experience in sign installation, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the signage industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in installation work
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Experience in fabrication is a plus
- History of sign installation or equal trade that would translate to ability to install signage.
- Valid Ca Drivers license
- 30 hour OSHA Certification—if you don’t have one, we will assist in getting you certified.
- Clean driving record (No SR22)
Duties:
- Clock in and clock out of each project daily
- Take pictures of site, issues, question areas, etc.
- Create daily logs for each project.
- Negotiate hourly wage with helper
- Remove and dispose of existing signs
- Install signage at various sites, including:
-Monument signs
-Channel letter signs, building numbers, etc.
-Unit, way-finding, and identification signs
-Safety and Code compliance signs
-Illuminated signs with Transformers
-Banner signs
- Interact with customers on site
- Pre-install inspections to prepare for successful installation.
- Weekly safety tailgate meetings
- Work with Field Operations Manager on scheduling and schedule maintenance
- Some travel to Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Palm Springs, and El Centro may be needed.
Work Hours:
- 40-hour work week
- Night and weekend work may be required at times
Requirements:
- Tools of the trade. (Specialty tools will be provided by us.)
Not Required But Recommended:
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook
- Install printed materials such as:
-Wall murals
-Wallpaper
