We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor on the second shift at our Chicopee facility to direct and coordinate daily work of team members while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor daily work activities to achieve daily production schedule while maintaining a safe environment and producing quality product.
- Allocate and assign work based on skills needed; identify and recommend cross training needs, using cross training matrix and staffing plan.
- Ensure that training is completed and documented.
- Maintain housekeeping and manage WIP, rejects, and waste.
- Proactively identify and solve problems to ensure daily goals are achieved and quality product is manufactured; escalate issues in a timely manner and seek out assistance when needed.
- Notify Production Manager of low inventories, runouts, and large amounts of rejects.
- Allocate and assign work based on skills needed; identify and recommend cross training needs, using cross training matrix and staffing plan.
- Ensure that training is completed and documented.
- Ensure annual evaluations are completed and that disciplinary actions are handled fairly and consistently
- Adhere to company policies consistently leading by example.

- 2 years of supervisory experience.
