Brooksource is currently seeking an experienced .NET Web and Multiplatform App UI (MAUI) Application Developer to develop and support internal applications for our client who is the nation's largest provider of public utility locating services. This position will involve application development, database design and development. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team environment with remote team members, implementing with coordinated methodologies, software, and development processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years practical experience with C# .NET and SQL
- Strong understanding of .NET application architecture and object-oriented design
- Database (SQL Server and PostgreSQL) experience including SQL Stored Procedures
- Experience with multi-tiered applications and design principles
- Experience with .NET (MVC framework and Core) web application development (MVC, HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Experience with Multiplatform App UI (MAUI) mobile application development
- Experience with NET Persistence
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON data exchange format
- Familiar with Web Services
- Self-starter who can work independently without a lot of supervision
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate to the team clearly and proactively and to non-technical members of the organization
- Strong prioritization and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with Agile principles
- Familiar with source code control practices
- Familiar with publishing mobile apps to App / Play store
- Operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and on-going maintenance of multiple .NET (MVC framework and Core) applications
- Work in cooperation with remote development team
- Clearly communicate status
