Job Title: Subscriber Communications Designer
Duration: 12 Month W2 Contract
Location: New York, NY 10036 (onsite Tues-Thurs, remote Mon & Fri)
Pay: $35-$48/hour depending on experience
Job Description:
- As a Subscriber Communications Designer you will be responsible for the creation, development and delivery of designs for all things related to subscriber lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- This position provides creative support for daily production of weekly newsletters, push notifications, in-apps, contributes to group projects, and works independently on assignments when needed.
- This is a hands-on position requiring individuals who are Photoshop masters, possess strong production skills, the ability to manipulate key art quickly with meticulous attention to detail, change direction easily, push their creativity and software skills to higher levels, have a solid understanding of lifecycle marketing, and actively communicate on all phases of a project to maintain the quality of the product.
- Your portfolio must reflect fundamental graphic design skills with understanding of message hierarchy, typographic layout and pixel perfect Photoshop compositing.

- Please show any previous communication design experience Support Art Directors with the production of push notifications, in-apps and email marketing assets
- Eager to learn and provide design solutions based on feedback Design pixel perfect digital marketing assets Iteration and versioning of creative assets for lifecycle marketing campaigns
- Contribute custom concepts for larger lifecycle campaign pitches
- Organizing and naming files appropriately for team members, vendors and agency partners
- Keep the design standards of the brand at the highest possible level
Basic Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working as a Digital Production Artist or similar role
- Must have experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Must have experience in Figma
- Must have lifecycle and digital production skills, creating assets in a fast-paced environment
- Coding background (css/html)
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, to take direction and to work as part of a team
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Only candidates with portfolios, or examples of their work, will be considered
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates who have experience working on entertainment and streaming brands are a plus
- Candidates who have motion experience are a plus
Additional Information
- Onsite Tues-Thurs, remote Monday & Friday.
- This is a very production-oriented design role where the Subscriber Communication Designer will be working primarily off of templates - weekly newsletter sends, monthly communications, etc.
- There are occasionally special events or holiday emails that will allow for a bit more creative freedom.
