This role will lead the procurement process for complex goods and services, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and continuous performance improvement. Must have advanced expertise in procurement strategies, market analysis, and contract negotiation to secure best-value outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to developing and maintaining internal policies, procedures, and processes that support Procurement functions, ensuring alignment with Deltek Costpoint capabilities.
- Assist with the implementation of Deltek Costpoint
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Develop training modules for Procurement processes.
- Ensure all procurements comply with company policies, procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and reporting requirements.
- Oversee small business subcontracting programs, contractor purchasing systems compliance, and control of Government Furnished Property, including report preparation.
- Manage various reporting requirements using government contracting
- Prepare reports for Executive Leadership.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive Procurement records in compliance with DFARS Business Systems criteria for a compliant Purchasing System (e.g., Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR)).
Requirements
- BS/BA degree
- 5 years experience in procurement with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management with progressive responsibilities.
- Possesses 2+yrs of government procurement experience.
- Experience in a DoD manufacturing environment.
- Advanced experience and knowledge of CPSR, Procurement Policies and Purchasing Systems.
