Oversees, coordinates, and manages the daily operations of digital and core systems.
• Lead a team that is responsible for the management and administration of the credit union’s core banking system, banking technologies and applications.
• Responsible for documentation, implementation, and performance of IT programs and processes.
• Responsible for day-to-day activities, support, and integration of the various digital products and systems, which include, but not limited to digital banking platform, mobile apps, mobile deposit, bill pay, digital payments, e-documents, e-signature, online lending, and account opening solutions, banking by phone and monitoring of online systems and services.
• Coordinates with the IT team to transition new systems and processes from implementation to ongoing support.
• Responsible for assuring the day-to-day operations and processing of the credit union’s Symitar/EASE core operating systems meets the credit union’s business requirements.
• Will work with core banking vendor on implementing, configuring and deployment of third-party data integration between the core banking systems and vendor solution using SymXchange and SymConnect.
• Work with vendors as necessary to implement, support and maintain third-party solutions.
• Supports the implementation of new digital services and completes comprehensive testing and validation of upgrades and releases to existing digital services.
• Support issues impacting staff and members. Act as central point of contact for internal and member facing digital systems.
• Will work closely with management to ensure we are prepared and have the proper policies in place for Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption.
• Acts as a point of contact for system outages and upgrades. and consultant to business groups to analyze and document core system business requirements. As well as a technology liaison and consultant to business groups to analyze and document system business requirements.
• Researches and communicates recurring or severe issues and recommend temporary and permanent solutions to maintain service and minimize member impact.
• Oversees and coordinates the updating of the Episys core banking system upgrades and service packs with the Symitar/EASE support teams and credit union business leaders.
• Works to improve channel convergence and strives for a consistent member experience across all channels.
• Works closely with designated IT personnel and internal business units in the successful planning and implementation of projects.
• Writes and maintain programs, utilities, and command files as needed to automate specific projects.
• Ensures standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes to core IT infrastructure systems.
• Develop, test, and implement Symitar (Episys) batch and on-demand specfiles, including core database.
