Job Title: Field Services Technician (Telephony Focus)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly professional Field Services Technician with expertise in the telephony side of field services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telephony systems, including both new and existing equipment. This role involves working directly with end users to ensure reliable communication services across various devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure new telephony equipment, including IP phones and analog devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as card failures, phone malfunctions, and dial tone adjustments.
- Manage and support a large telephony infrastructure with over 2,000 IP devices and 12,000 analog lines, including systems for safety services, faxing, and credit card transactions.
- Deliver and install phones, replace jacks, and provide hands-on support for end users.
- Work with a mix of legacy and modern telephony equipment, including Electronic Private Network (EPN) systems.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with end users and ensuring seamless telephony operations.
Requirements:
- Experience with both IP and analog telephony systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills in field service environments.
