Property Manager Job Summary:
A local property management group is looking to add a property manager to its growing team. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented, people-focused, and have excellent phone skills. Their team members are team and sales-oriented and extremely motivated. This position requires fine-tuned computer and paperwork skills; previous experience in affordable housing is extremely desirable.
Property Manager Responsibilities:
- Greets walk-in guests in the office
- Answering phones and directing phone traffic
- Communicating with current and prospective tenants
- Explaining leasing agreements including the guidelines and requirements of affordable housing
- Renewing Leases
- Processing applications
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday-Friday 9:00 am-6:00 pm
- $24.00-$27.00/HR depending on experience
Property Manager Qualifications:
- 2+ years of multi-family property management experience required
- Previous experience with affordable housing is preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Administrative, organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Time management skills to organize daily planning and monthly activities and meet deadlines
- Customer service skills to interact effectively with employees and outside customers
- Ability to shift priorities quickly without losing attention to detail.
