Responsibilities:
o Establish enterprise standards
o Design data models using data modeling tools to support business processes
o Manage the enterprise data model repository
o Provide data model documentation and artifacts generated from data – ERD, data dictionary, data definitions, etc.
o Compliant with Bank’s data modeling standards
o Apply industry standards and best practices where applicable
o Perform end-to-end data management from data analysis, conceptual/logical/physical modeling to database deployment
o Create structures that implement and enforce unified set of models
o Prepare presentations for business users and management
o Support enterprise data catalog setup and enrichment.
Qualifications:
o 9 years of hands-on data modeling experience with ER Studio.
o 9 years of hands-on strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, Dimensional) at both enterprise and data product level.
o 9 years of experience in establishing enterprise data standards.
o 9 years of experience in designing enterprise data model framework.
o Work with business architects, Solution architects, and data stewards to capture business requirements in a Conceptual and Logical Data Model.
o General working knowledge of traditional DBMS platforms like Oracle and Cloud DBMS like Aurora, Dynamo DB, Redshift and Databricks.
o Analyze and translate business requirements into conceptual and fully detailed logical data models.
o Create logical data models based on existing applications and databases.
o Contribute to ongoing updates to data modeling standards and guidelines.
o Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
o Evaluate physical data models to ensure they align with the corresponding logical data models.
o Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture.
o Ability to write SQL to query data (ideally ANSI SQL).
o Experience with data integration architecture, strategy, and processes
o Working experience in collaboration with product stakeholders and development/test/infrastructure support teams.
o Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
o Strong initiative, ability to self-manage, and work well in a team environment
