A financial industry leader needs a CockroachDB DBA to apply their passion for technology, technical aptitude, and creative problem-solving skills to create unique database systems.
Long term contract/contract to hire possible.
2 weeks per month onsite in either; Westlake, Texas or Salt Lake City, UT, or Durham, NC, or Jersey City NJ. Day 1 onsite. Must be able to relocate at your own expense or live in a commutable distance. Expenses will not be reimbursed.
Must be based in the United States and be available to work regular East Coast hours.

Requirements of the CockroachDB DBA:
- 8+ years of DBA experience
- 1 year of CockroachDB experience in a production environment.
- Hands-on and architecture knowledge of CockroachDB
- Prefer hands on MongoDB experience will consider other NOSQL databases.
- CI/CD, DevOps, uDeploy, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to lead.
- Scripting/automation tooling experience a must
- AWS Solutions Architect certification
- MongoDB experience
On-call 1 week per month.
