Basic Purpose
The Business Analyst is responsible for the analysis, implementation, and ongoing support of Dynamics 365 solutions within our organization in order to optimize business processes, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the organization’s objectives.
This role involves engaging and collaborating with various departments to understand their business needs, translating those into technical requirements, and ensuring that the Dynamics 365 system effectively addresses them.
The Business Analyst must work closely with business stakeholders to conceptualize and design IT-enabled support services that are both technologically feasible and financially and functionally viable—developing clear documentation of solution design requirements, reviewing Third-Party Vendor solutions, and planning IT development, training, testing, and resource allocation. The Business Analyst will continuously communicate with stakeholders to update progress and ensure business support and participation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst focusing on Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM systems.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring, customizing, and supporting Dynamics 365 applications.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture, modules, and functionalities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements related to Dynamics 365 applications.
- Conduct gap analysis between current processes and Dynamics 365 capabilities, recommending tailored solutions to address business needs.
- Lead the implementation of new features and system upgrades, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered with minimal disruption.
- Create technical design documents and collaborate with vendors to implement new system customizations and functionality.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all requests, incidents, and problems logged in the ticketing system.
- Act as the primary contact for urgent, escalated, and complex support issues, managing the escalation process and ensuring stakeholders are informed.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Dynamics 365 applications, including troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee the communication process for any outages or emergency activities within the organization.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, process flows, standard operating procedures, and user manuals.
- Develop and deliver user training programs to effectively utilize Dynamics 365 systems.
- Engage in continuous training to offer comprehensive support to business users and support them in testing system solutions and new features.
- Develop, execute, and document test plans to validate that solutions meet business and technical specifications.
