Role: Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

Responsibilities:
- Design power conditioning and distribution systems for commercial and military autonomous vehicles, considering specific operating requirements.
- Develop input protection circuits, power supplies, regulators, output protection circuits, ESD protection, and EMI/EMC compliance circuits.
- Conduct risk-reduction prototyping and validation testing through analysis, simulation, and hardware testing.
- Implement design improvements to reduce cost, increase yield, and enhance throughput, ensuring quality through detailed documentation.
- Support interdisciplinary design teams, design reviews, and production build from prototypes to full-scale manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of professional experience power supplies design.
- Expertise in designing and simulating complex digital and analog circuits, including point-of-load power supplies.
- Proficient in selecting safety-critical components and switching power supply components such as FETs, inductors, and capacitors, with strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience using common test equipment.
- Knowledgeable in design, analysis, and manufacturing standards for multilayer rigid CCAs, with the ability to independently solve technical problems and collaborate cross-functionally with systems, safety, and mechanical engineering teams.
- Knowledge of Altium Designer, automotive PMICs and Automotive Safety and Military such as ISO 26262 and MIL-STD series is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
