Human Resources Specialist - LOA, Worker's Comp, Benefits
Location: Claremont, CA
Duration: Temp to Hire
Hours: Flexible 8:30-4:30pm or 5pm
Pay: $25-33/hour, based on experience
We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist - LOA, Worker's Comp, Benefits, who can start ASAP. They are looking for an associate who has a strong familiarity with LOA, worker's compensation, and benefits. Familiar with process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Ensure compliance with leave laws, including but not limited to Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Paid Family Leave (PFL), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and worker's compensation.
- Assist in maintaining HR records and databases.
- Perform data entry
- Collaborate with HR team to support various HR functions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of previous experience in HR and payroll administration.
- Familiarity with leave laws, including FMLA, PFL, CFRA, and worker's compensation.
- Ability to effectively communicate leave laws, procedures, and examples.
- Experience handling employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with work hours.
