Position: Complex Manager
Department: Industrial Services Auto Americas
Position Purpose: Responsible for organizing, planning, managing and coordination of all in-plant logistics. Work daily with customer to ensure proper staffing, training, execution and process improvements on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop standardized processes within in-plant logistics / production support areas
- Lead, develop, teach and execute problem solving activates
- Develop yearly / monthly budgets, create variance to actual reports
- Fully understand visual management and how to implement within process
- Drive accountability within Team
- Lead large scale projects / process changes within the production environment
- Provide technical knowledge and problem solving skills to encourage better decision making.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.
- Ensure the complete safety of everyone in the work environment.
- Demonstrate role model behavior for safety, integrity and ethical standards as well as portrayal behaviors consistent with the Leadec lean manufacturing culture.
- Assist in the deployment of Leadec contracted and subcontracted service activities using Leadec developed Throughput Management, Top 5, Problem Solving, Lean Business System, Lean Manufacturing Production System, First Time Capability, philosophies.
- Escalate issues and problems up to Leadec Regional Manager and staff when appropriate.
- Provide leadership training for Leacec team leaders as well as mentor and coach on-the-job.
- Participate in the hiring process for new employees if requested.
- Participate with plant personnel in supplier equipment "buy-off" activities as required.
- Actively drive out waste from all Leadec activities through the use of the Leadec lean manufacturing production system.
- Be a student and teacher of the Leadec lean manufacturing production system.
- Create a work environment in all service areas which supports Leadec's lean manufacturing culture and positive employee morale.
- Resolve any and all employee relations issues for team leaders and team members.
- Follow the Leadec recognition and discipline procedures to maintain high employee morale and discipline in the organization.
- Distribute, advocate, and discuss organizational information with Leadec team members.

- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Must be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications.
- Must be extremely organized.
Position Requirements:
- 4 year engineering degree preferred. (Industrial Engineering)
- 5 plus years' experience in a manufacturing facility.

- The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8+ hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
