Persephone Bakery, located in Jackson, WY, is a James Beard Nominated bakery and cafe operations, with a wholesale production facility, and three cafe outlets in the Jackson Hole region. Our cafe menus are locally rooted and focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. They offer breakfast and lunch menus as well as a collection of artisanal breads and traditional French pastries.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a J1 Visa Kitchen Manager at Persephone Bakery in Jackson, WY. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, cooking, food and beverage management, food quality control, and culinary management. They will ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Strong understanding of food quality control
- Experience in culinary management
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience working in a bakery or cafe is a plus
- Valid J1 Visa for the role (Persephone will sponsor the 18mo J1 Management visa. Applicant must have completed or be enrolled in a culinary program in their country)
- English fluency is necessary. Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
