We’re looking for a talented Product Manager with a strong background in UI/UX design to join our passionate and collaborative technology team.
We are working across the company to ensure that our publishers, editors and clients can produce beautiful print magazines and digital content to drive engagement. We care deeply about what we do and about the communities we interact with. We have an open culture in which we value critical thought and opinion. We are hyper-iterative. Moving at our pace brings a lot of complexity and ambiguity, so you have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. It’s not for everyone, and that’s okay.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and inspire Engineering, Sales, Operations, and other teams to create compelling mockups, technical patterns, design systems, and shared features.
- Understand and advocate for the needs of publishers, advertisers, and internal stakeholders.
- Simplify processes to enable others to work more efficiently.
This individual should possess the following skills/traits:
- A track record of impact as a designer, with experience or interest in a product management role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Display resourcefulness and the ability to accomplish more with limited resources.
- Committed to staying up-to-date with industry trends, new tools, and emerging methodologies.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a UI/UX design and/or product management role
- Residency in Kansas City metropolitan area – position is full-time and in-person
- Driving to onsite cultural activities as requested
- No travel demands at this time
