Based in New York, USA our global client is looking for a Regional Revenue Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, working full-time 5 days per week in the office. This role can be based between the NYC, LA, Chicago, Miami or Washington DC locations 5 days a week.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with at least 5 years of hospitality revenue management experience within key city locations in the US, to take on a leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and collaborating with the US Sales Director.
You’ll be responsible for steering the revenue function for a portfolio of high-profile properties in key American cities.
This dynamic and leading global lifestyle accommodation brand across European capitals and is now rapidly expanding across the US, which opens up this fantastic opportunity to manage a diverse and exciting portfolio while making a significant impact on revenue strategy for the region within the US.
The successful individual will have at least 5 years’ revenue management experience including multi-hotel portfolio and hands-on experience in key US city locations. You will be confident in dealing with people, skilled at executing strategies to drive business growth, and you will possess a warm and friendly personality that fosters collaboration across teams. You must be technically proficient with a range of hospitality systems, including Property Management Systems, Revenue Management Systems, Channel Managers, and Microsoft Office products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Job responsibilities:
- Report to the CCO and work closely with the Sales Director, US, Sales and Reservation teams of the properties you are looking after
- Produce annual budget per segment per day; participate in the process of delivering the annual rooms plan
- Analyse reports and data to develop winning revenue management strategies to outperform your competitive set
- Maximise total revenue of the property through business mix optimisation and rate manipulation
- Deliver weekly, monthly and annual reports, or any ad hoc reports, subject to management guidelines
- Forecast daily demand per market segment for your property and provide supporting commentary to the management
- Manage the overbooking strategy for the hostel to maximise occupancy levels
- Monitor and control all functions of the revenue management system and the accuracy of the reporting solution
- Liaise with Finance team to support financial analysis in market segmentation and distribution channel mix trends
