Skills Alliance are supporting a global cosmetics company in their search for a Reverse Logistics Manager, based out of New Jersey, the responsiblities and reuirements are listed below:
Responsibilities
- Oversee creation and set up of internal and/or 3rd party reverse logistics as and when required.
- Oversee and coordinate reverse logistics operations for customer returns, including product inspection, testing, and disposition.
- Analyze and identify trends in customer returns to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement returns management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to reverse logistics.
- Manage relationships with shippers, vendors, and service providers to negotiate cost-effective solutions and improve service quality.
- Lead projects and initiatives to optimize reverse logistics processes and reduce costs.
- Generate management reports on reverse logistics activities, including return rates, turnaround time, and cost analysis.
- Maintain technical proficiency with relevant software and technology used in reverse logistics operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in reverse logistics
- Manage reverse logistics team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in reverse logistics management or a similar role.
- Experience in product flows, inventory management, audit, quality control would be a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of reverse logistics processes, flows, and techniques.
- Proven track record of meeting cost-efficiency targets in reverse logistics operations.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technologies used in reverse logistics.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
