Role Title: SAP Cutover Lead
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months rolling contract. Project will run for 18 months
Location: North Chicago - Onsite 3 days a week (Tu, Wed, Thur)
Role Description:
Immediate need for a Senior SAP Cutover Lead. This position is part of our legacy Manufacturing System conversion to a new SAP S4/HANA platform.
- Responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing the activities related to a phased Cutover to SAP, by facility. This is to enable a timely and successful conversion of the in-scope business units.
- Responsible for content, overall quality and execution of the cutover tasks
- Work with Business stakeholders, PMO and functional work streams to define and put in place a comprehensive cutover plan and integrate into the overall Project Schedule
- Get alignment from the business stakeholders on key functional decisions
- Plan for all the necessary logistics requirements, expected activity durations, execution of various conversions & interfaces including all the dependencies during cutover
- Manage relationship with project stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and issues on a regular basis
- Provide relevant progress reports from a cutover perspective to the PMO for further communication
- Post UAT, manage daily/weekly cutover meetings during the execution of the cutover tasks and do the necessary follow ups
- Provide feedback into the go/no go criteria and decision process
- Analyze risks, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action
Requirements:
- Experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations, with demonstrated success in leading the cutover activities from a legacy ERP system to SAP ECC or SAP S4/HANA
- Project management skills - Create, monitor, control, and execute the cutover portion of the project plan
- Demonstrable experience as a Cutover specialist when converting from legacy ERP systems to SAP ECC or SAP S4/HANA
- Ability to define and execute detailed cutover plans, while articulating progress and status clearly to key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate diverse teams of different skill sets and backgrounds.
