Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Assistant General Manager of Cost Control to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead cost planning activities for the company, oversee Cost Estimating and Cost Administration groups, and implement and manage KMC/NAL cost planning activity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Direct the timely and accurate preparation of cost estimates to support the customer quotation process.
- Oversee the development of hourly machine costs and labor rates. Identify and address areas of concern.
- Ensure that cost targets are established for all new products.
- Communicate targets to all functional areas and actively work to ensure targets are achieved.
- Directly engage key program participants and management when a concern comes to light that will affect profitability.
Requirements
Your Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business related discipline
- 10+ years of related manufacturing experience, or equivalent; including 5 years of supervisory experience
