Summary
The Network Administrator supports and maintains LAN and WAN equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance and security. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via work order) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain network equipment for all networks in retail, cultivation, and home office location.
- Diagnoses problems to resolve calls on various supported computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels.
- Acts as an escalation point to IT Support Specialist’s for network connectivity and internal hardware/software.
- Collaborates with IT leadership to ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment.
- Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems. Provides on-call support.
- Liaisons with third-party support and equipment vendors.
- Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
Minium Requirements
- Bachelors in an IT-field or equivalent years’ experience
- Five years’ work experience in related field
- Excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN, VOIP, VPN, and Mobile technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot basic to expert-level networking projects and tasks.
- Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check
- Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally
- Must perform under high pressure situations.
