My client is an employee-owned general contractor that is looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Executive to join their team. This person will oversee large-scale and complex program of construction projects. Ideally, my client would like someone with ground up mission critical project experience. You will be based in the Jacksonville, FL office. **Must have GC experience**
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate multiple construction projects to ensure alignment with design specifications, budget constraints, and project timelines.
- Play a key role in the growth of the business by:
- Setting clear goals and managing team performance with a focus on safety, budget management, scheduling, quality, and adherence to company standards.
- Planning and organizing recruitment and staffing for essential office and field positions.
- Assisting in resolving issues and interfacing with owners, A/E representatives, or subcontractors as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all company, client, and project policies and standards.
- Providing guidance on planning, scheduling, and construction management as necessary.
- Assisting with project mobilization and demobilization.
- Overseeing assigned projects with a comprehensive understanding of contracts, subcontractor agreements, project billing, and monthly financial reporting.
- Executing additional tasks as directed by executive management.
- Managing client and project pursuits, including overseeing bids and preconstruction activities.
Working Conditions:
- Construction environment with a requirement for 50% travel. Positions available in the Phoenix, Arizona or Jacksonville, Florida offices.
- Physical demands include crawling, climbing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, standing for extended periods, lifting and holding over 50 lbs, talking, hearing, and occasional sitting.
- Must handle confined spaces, extreme heights, and variable weather conditions safely.
- Reporting To: Vice President of Commercial Construction.
What We Expect:
- Education / Experience – Minimum high school diploma/GED and 15 years’ experience as a project manager required. Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
