Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Logistics Coordinator at FIVE HORIZONS TRANSIT. The role involves coordinating and overseeing daily logistics operations, managing inventory, communicating with carriers and customers, and ensuring efficient supply chain management. While the role is based in Nashville, TN, some remote work is allowed. Training can be provided if you have a strong background in customer service and are looking to transition to the logistics/transportation field. We are hiring now so work would start this month. Salary is commensurate with experience. Depending on the role, some positions come with sales commission in addition to salary. Applicant must live in the Nashville, TN area or be able to commute to the office for the first few weeks of the job for on-site training.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Management
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in logistics or related field
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using logistics software and tools
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance
- Previous experience with FTL and LTL shipping is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Bilingual is a plus
- Phone etiquette and call management skills for outbound/inbound calls
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
