Our team is driving the hiring process for Aerospace Manufacturing Engineers with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical manufacturing engineering, particularly in the aerospace industry. As an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer with one of our industry-leading partners, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes, solving complex technical problems, and implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing efficiency. Ideal candidates will have direct aerospace experience with collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

- To be considered, candidates must be permanent residents of the United States (Green Card or Citizen) and must abide by Federal, State, Local, and organization-specific regulations and restrictions such as ITAR, FARs, and COI's.

- Mechanical/Electrical Manufacturing Engineering: Proven experience in solving technical manufacturing problems and supporting the production of aerospace components and systems.
- Lean or Six Sigma Methodologies: Strong background in applying Lean or Six Sigma practices for process optimization, waste reduction, and quality improvement.
- Project Leadership: Experience leading significant manufacturing engineering projects, ideally having managed or led a team to accomplish individual project tasks.
- Hardware testing, development, assembly, and manufacturing: Experience in testing, development, assembly, and manufacturing activities for aerospace systems and components, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance throughout the product lifecycle.
- CAD Software: Ability to use CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or AutoCAD for designing aerospace components and systems.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T): Proficiency in applying GD&T principles to ensure precise fit, form, and function of aerospace components and systems, complying with industry standards such as ASME Y14.5.
- Problem Solving: Strong hands-on problem-solving skills, ideally Green Belt or Black Belt certified in Six Sigma methodologies.
Pay Range:
$40/hr to $60+/hr
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace.
- Direct experience in mechanically and electrically oriented manufacturing engineering with a focus on problem-solving, not just planning.
- Strong understanding of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma, demonstrating proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with industry leaders such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Collins Aerospace, Raytheon, or similar organizations, indicating familiarity with aerospace industry standards and best practices.
- Previous experience completing a significant manufacturing engineering project, ideally in a leadership capacity.
