Overview of Responsibilities:
The Marine & Underwater Construction Project Manager/Director will join Coastal Engineering’s leadership team to oversee, manage, and lead marine and commercial diving-related construction projects, providing expertise and people leadership. Our projects involve working with varying structure types including bridges, dams, water/wastewater facilities, power plants, bulkheads and seawalls, and more. This role requires expertise in project coordination, budgeting, schedule management, submittals, and people management. This person will exercise direct supervision in ensuring contract compliance. Additionally, they will represent Coastal and our clients in a decision-making capacity when partnering with customers, contractors, consultants, developers, and governmental/regulatory agencies.
Your Expertise:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (nice to have)
- Progressive project management experience in marine-related industry
- ADCI Dive Supervisor with demonstrated knowledge and experience
- USACE CQM (US Army Corps of Engineers, Construction Quality Management) Certification, or ability to complete after starting position
- Ability to pass background check for Federal work installations
- Knowledge of OSHA, EM385, ADCI (Association of Diving Contractors International), and other safety protocols and regulations - safety is of paramount importance
- CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred
Your Location:
This position is based in our Greenwood Lake, NY office location. Travel may require a few overnights per month
