Our Cincinnati office concentrates on the sales and service of planetary gearboxes and hydraulics pumps/motors.
We are seeking a Senior Service Thecnician with strong work ethic, high energy, great people skills and a drive to succeed. This person will perform inspection and repair activities on PMP Industries Inc. (the “Company”) hydraulic and mechanical products/components in the field and at the workshop. Highly organized and self-motivated person with ability to work also unsupervised.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform inspections, repair and test of Company products in the field and at Company facilities.
- Create accurate reports and documents related to the inspection, repair and test of Company products.
- Cooperate with other PMP employees to address and solve problems related to inspection, repair and test of Company products.
- Review and suggest improvements to service-related documentation.
- Create reports and technical documentation on application assessments and review and improve application related documentation.
- Interact via phone and electronic communication with Company customers on service and application related matters. Visit Company customers in person to address any service and application related matters.
- Increase the Company market penetration in North America by achieving customer satisfaction.
- Attend technical and sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, regulations in the market place. (Note: International travel may be required.)
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Previous experience in service and repair activity with off highway mobile systems preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to write reports and technical correspondence.
- Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers.
- Skill and ability to meet people, listen and create reports.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.
- Knowledge of computer skills. MS Office is preferred.
