Millennium Corporation is hiring a Software Test Engineer to work in a remote capacity in Bedford, Massachusetts. The candidate must possess an active Secret security clearance to be considered.
The Software Test Engineer will:
- Assume responsibility for test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end- user operational testing.
- Plan and conduct test programs.
- Independently prepare criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
- Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks
- Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification)
- Deconflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
- Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing.
- Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
- Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
- Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a similar field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DOD space
- Experience with Agile methods, including testing methods for CI/CD, DevSecOps and DevOps.
- Experience with either of these frameworks or testing methods: Page Object Model, Behavior Driven Development, Data Driven Testing, Hybrid Framework, Functional, System, Regression, End-to-End, or User Acceptance.
- Experience with DoD Test and Processes.
