Boon has an exciting career opportunity for a Billing Representative. The Billing Representative supports our clients in the day-to-day servicing of their employee benefits and plan administration. They are responsible for comprehensive billing, premium and hours reconciliation, resolving billing discrepancies, and the processing of premiums.

What You'll Do
- Manages all aspects of the billing for assigned groups utilizing Boon’s eligibility system.
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of eligibility, billing reconciliations, invoicing, and audits.
- Coordinates with clients, account management, and vendors regarding needed information, premiums, and escalations.
- Communicates changes to other departments, groups and clients as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follow the company policies and procedures required to comply with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including but not limited to SOC controls, and HIPAA Privacy, and Security regulations.
What You'll Need
- Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Reconciliation or basic accounting skills needed.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multi-tasked projects and stay organized.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- Critical thinking skills, problem analysis, and process documentation.
