Position Overview: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be instrumental in diagnosing machinery issues, enhancing product designs, and leveraging CAD technology to develop and refine product concepts. Your role involves close collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure we meet delivery targets and maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and address mechanical process deficiencies to drive improvements.
- Design and develop prototypes, and perform detailed analysis and testing.
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing and modifying parts.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
- Act as a customer liaison and support program engineering.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects and document analyses with actionable recommendations.
- Take on additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
- Intermediate math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Advanced computer proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and persistence.
- 1-2 years of experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks or similar software.
- Experience in metal fabrication
- MIG welding skills and knowledge of Radan laser nesting software are advantageous.
