South Georgia Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job
Our client in South Georgia is seeking a Gastroenterologist to assist with ongoing coverage. The hospital is also recruiting for a new permanent physician if you're looking for a new opportunity as well.
Details/Requirements for Assignment :
- Coverage request: up to 4 weeks per month of coverage (would consider 2 candidates that can cover 2 weeks per month each)
- Ongoing request, for at least the next 6-12 months
- Location: Southwest Georgia
- Active Georgia license and current Board Certification required
- Will cover scoping days Monday-Friday no call for nights/weekends
- After you ve scoped for around 3 weeks they d like you to follow up on the patients you've scoped during 4 hours of clinic coverage (to see approximately 8 patients)
- Ideally, you d see 12-15 scopes per day
- You ll also be allotted 4-hours of administrative time per week to ensure all notes and Pathology reports are complete
- Must be comfortable with conscious sedation CRNA s are not available during the day
- Their EMR is Meditech
