Our client, a well-known retailer outside of Boston, is looking for a Studio Manager to join their internal creative team!
This is a full-time, hybrid (Tues-Thurs onsite) role.
The Studio Manager will be overseeing the production team, managing multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met and performing production tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule the tasks to and for the Production Team, ensuring timelines and feedback are provided
- Lead a group of designers and provide clear and concise feedback
- Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines to effectively stay on time and on budget
- Balance frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedules
- Develop new workflows and quality control measures to ensure standards are met
- Take feedback and develop and revise design solutions as needed
- Ability to understand business objectives and articulate these to project team members
- Make file corrections as needed, preflight and release artwork and color proofs to external vendors
- Develop and maintain design standards with comprehensive understanding of brand guidelines
- Regularly review status of projects with leadership
The ideal Studio Manager will have:
- A minimum of 7 years in a production/design role with experience managing a team
- Proven experience managing a team and understanding people management
- Ability to execute concepts and delivery across multiple channels - print and digital
- Design and technical skills that aid in the development of assets
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite; After Effects and basic HTML/CSS a huge plus!
- Self-motivated and high level of accountability to develop and adhere to schedules; prioritize workload; and work in fast paced and evolving environment
