Title: Systems Integration Engineer, Senior (12-15+ years) OR Junior (4+ years)
Location: Robins Air Force Base, Georgia
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, Full-Time, Direct
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance OR ability to obtain
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform systems engineering to include expertise in systems design and integration; manufacturing, quality and industrial engineering; airworthiness; and configuration, and data management.
- Knowledgeable of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground-based systems.
- Provide system integration guidance to aircraft program offices for the program system installation and system maintenance; review and analyze technical proposals or modifications for design feasibility and system capability.
- Provide system integration guidance to the Government for the program system installation and system maintenance.
- Assist in the development and review of the overall system design baseline.
- Apply OSS&E and airworthiness processes, as well as assist in providing risk assessments, safety analysis and recommendations, and addressing high priority safety issues.
Required Experience:
One of the following combinations of education and experience:
- An ABET accredited Master's degree in an engineering discipline, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD -OR-
- An ABET accredited Bachelor's engineering discipline, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD
- Apply an understanding of DoD, AF, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
