3D Modeler X2
The 3D Modeler is responsible for developing the environment where our customers will use the Simulation Tools, creating an immersive and unique experience.
Duties Include:
- Creation and correction of a simulator scene based on the electronic chart data.
- Creation and correction of 3D object models (prototypes), placing them in the correct points of the scene.
- Creation and correction of ship 3D models.
- Search for additional source data as required.
- Source data conversion to internal formats.
- Creating a set of textures needed.
- Assembly and testing of the simulator scene/simulator ship model.
Qualifications / Skills
- University Degree in a Technical Discipline
- Basic understanding of marine charts, navigation terms and expressions.
- Knowledge of 3ds Max - low-ply modeling, Substance 3d - texture creation, Unreal Engine 5 - real-time visualization basics (editing, modeling, texturing)
- Photoshop, Google Earth, Windows office, AutoCAD
- Must be willing to travel.
Experience required
- 1+ years’ experience with 3D Modelling.
- Prior experience supporting Navy or NAWCTSD programs is highly desirable.
- Candidates must be a US citizen with the ability obtain and retain a Common Access card
- Hybrid / remote work is available for candidates who are local to the Orlando offices.
