Summary of HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition at JBSS:
Manages full cycle recruitment for both exempt and non-exempt positions at our corporate office. This role also includes responsibility for new hire orientations and internship program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Directly recruit for all corporate office and operations leadership positions, including:
- Conducting recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers.
- Reviewing resumes and proactively sourcing talent using internet job portals.
- Scheduling and conducting interviews, seeking feedback, and managing the corporate applicant tracking process in UKG.
- Extending job offers and keeping all related parties updated with regular check-ins.
- Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding by:
- Informing relevant parties about upcoming new hires.
- Aligning hiring managers on 30-60-90 day check-in items.
- Delivering new hire orientations and conducting post-hire check-ins with employees.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the point of contact for assigned departments on all employee relations and human resources support needs, including investigations, discipline, training, policy rollout, best practices, and performance.
- Recruiting Firm Partnerships: Engage recruiting firm partnerships as needed, secure agreements, and manage relationships and communications.
- Internship Program: Coordinate the summer internship program, apply best practices, and enhance the program year over year.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience managing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding within a hiring company, required.
- 1+ year of experience in a position of responsibility and accountability for employee relations and/or labor relations, preferred.
- Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP preferred.
