Key Responsibilities:
- Firewall Engineering: Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise firewall security, ensuring robust protection across all network layers.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to execute complex network security projects from inception to completion.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures, to support ongoing security efforts.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support as part of a rotation schedule, ensuring 24/7 protection and quick resolution of any network security issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in firewall engineering with a deep understanding of Cisco networking and enterprise firewall technologies.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of WAN technologies and enterprise-class infrastructure environments.
- Healthcare Background: Familiarity with healthcare data privacy practices and laws is a plus, helping you to align security measures with industry standards.
- Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to author technical documents are crucial for success in this role.
