About the Project
Join a significant remediation project aimed at addressing and filling gaps following a cyber incident last September. You will be part of the team, that operates a critical $10B segment within the client's $30B revenue structure, overseeing 33 sites and 1200 employees. This segment specializes in Life Safety operations including fire, police, ambulance services, nuclear power plants, hospitals, and more, requiring a secure network.
Responsibilities:
- Network Segmentation: Work on segmenting the Life Safety operation to ensure independent and secure operations.
- Firewall Management: Replace legacy Cisco firewalls with Cisco Firepower and Fortinet devices. Manage ASAs, replacing them as necessary with Firepower or Fortinet solutions.
- Collaborate closely with AT&T engineers, the CMC team (12-14 people), and the overall network team (35-40 people) to achieve project goals.
- Site Coordination: Engage with network engineers to ensure seamless firewall implementation and network security.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Firewall Engineer, with a strong initiative to lead projects with minimal direction.
- Proficiency with Cisco firewalls
- Ability to independently run projects, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and manage tasks efficiently.
- CCIE Required
Preferred: Familiarity with FortiGate, SolarWinds, and Tufin
